I get about 247 times LOL
I am gonna try to count how many times this guy says “BASICALLY”..Let’s all try it LOL
does ANYONE know where a vid tut of how to take the case off of the Dell Inspiron 1750 laptop?!?!?!?! please tell me!!!
i forgot to remove the VGA port(i think thats what it is) but i kinda strong armed the the motherboard and broke it lol terrible, i know.
but to get to my point, i had the idea to do this when i got the laptop from a friend 2 weeks ago, and you confirmed it for me. but i had not so good results…i cant figure out what i di wrong, but when it was all done, i plugged it in to test it and it sparked.
i do plan on trying again, if not after posting this, then 2maro. running low on solder…
Thanks for the video, it was great
Jeff
I need to find a wire guide for my power jack. on my hp g50. Any ideas? I have the new jack. but I don’t know what wires go where. I was stupid and didn’t get the right wires wrote down or picture of.
The part # is DL91425. To be honest with you, you don’t need to replace the jack (unless the stem is broken). All you need is to solder the 4 points back to the motherboard and it works perfectly. I thought I needed a new jack at first too, but I just went ahead and solder the points and it worked.
same exact problem am having with my insp-2200 please if you have that part # can you hit me back with it mine still charges but got to play with the cord
Thanks.
Thanks for a great informative video! It was very helpful. Only suggestion would be to use the word “basically” a little less.
nice. now i have to find an ac adapter 4 my lenovo n500. then ill be watchin this again. thanx pimp
@leif011 I know, I watch my vids sometimes and laugh at how I pronounce things, lol
say basically one more time it’s funny.
this is great guys…but anyone know where i can find a PCGA-AC19V1 schematic for this?…or a video like this
for vaio pcg-fx877……please
man great video thanks a lot. i’ll try 2morrow and let u know how it goes.
thanks for showing, very helpful
Yep, I didn’t want to get solder on the lens of my camera (didn’t have a plexiglass shield). I could have done better with a precision tip solder iron, but I wanted to keep the cost of the project down so anyone could do the repair. I agree, repair shops aren’t always the best. Even top computer manufactures do poor jobs on repairs. I sent a $2000 toshiba gaming laptop in for repairs and it came back with loose parts and a totally blocked fan vent, because the tech left tape on the inside.
No one can see your solder job once its in the case…seen far worse from “tech shops”. Good job.
My AC adapter is not recognized by my BIOS. I bought new one. Should I still use your approach. Your video is gr8!
can anyone inform me on how to fix a once wet ac adapter? even if its not possible to fix, i would relesh an answer!
thx!
