   whats the power supply provide on this computer? I own one too but I need to upgrade my video card and I can’t find the power supply listed anywhere

   My dad had a HP Pavilion just like that but with an AMD Athlon 1.3GHz combined with 128MB RAM. Served us well for 7 years

   Nice computer. Sorry about the processor, that sucks. Hope you get the old one going again for the sentimental value if nothing else. I have a hp 551w from 2002 that is P4 1.6ghz. 1 gig ram, 128 meg ati gcard. Still going strong but hp has some tempting deals right now. I don’t pc game so this one still suits me fine but I’m going to have to add a second hard drive. 500 gb from newegg ide WD is only $57.77 shipped.

   Yea, it was kinda a emergency purchase, I had planed to build a gaming computer with a $2000 budget (core i7 processor, tri sli, 2tb hdd, dual 22″ monitors….the works) but just so happen my main video editing desktop died on me, so I went out and caught this one on sale at a local electronics store…..its a great pc, only thing left to do is change out the power supply and video card to turn it into a gaming rig.

   wow. for that kinda money you can build a beast… im talkin a dual core xeon with a nice motherboard.. mine cost 350 i shouldve built a computer but i didn’t know what I was doing when i bought this… a quad core is nice in an hp tho…

    Hey man i have this same pc but im having a bit of a problem with it my computer seems to get a lag spike if you wanna call it (it slowsdown stops then continues) when i run games i tried changing the internet and was sure it was not the internet afterwards i couldnt find anything wrong thats why i ask do you know what the hell is wrong with my computer. Some details are that i get “Choke” and “Loss” and i dont know what they mean hope you can help me out.
